Daniel Brush Tromein (born August 27, 1988), also known as Dani or DBT, is an American politician who is the current 47th president of the United States since 2025. As the founder of the Tromein Party (recognized as Independent when referring to his presidency), he represented Rhode Island in the U.S. Senate from 2019 to 2025. Tromein is the only 21st century U.S. politician to have more than 1 spouse.

Tromein was born in Providence, Rhode Island. Tromein studied at University of Rhode Island before earning his law degree from Syracuse University in 2014. Tromein was elected to the U.S. Senate from Rhode Island in 2018, and remains Rhode Island's only senator to not seek re-election, despite not dying, retiring or resigning. Tromein is the most popular U.S. Senator in history.

Tromein announced his candidacy in the 2024 election as an Independant on February 3rd, 2024. He won the 2024 election in the only 50 state + DC landslide ever, becoming the only presidential candidate to carry all 50 states + DC, the youngest president in U.S. history, the first president from Rhode Island, and the first Independent president since George Washington left office. Tromein's presidential portrait is the first hand-drawn portrait since William Harrison. Tromein's vice president is also the first vice president to hold the First Spouse of the United States office and the VP office.

Early & personal life (1988-2018)

Daniel Brush Tromein was born on August 27, 1988 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island, to Astro Tromein and Xarnoth Tromein. Daniel Tromein is the youngest child in his family, and he has a brother.

Not much is known about Tromein's early years, such as what he was doing and interested in before he entered politics. It has been confirmed Tromein never moved anywhere outside of Providence, Rhode Island. The following paragraphs are what is publicly known about him and his early years.

Tromein requested for his Syracuse yearbook portrait to be hand-drawn, as he is an enjoyer of painting and art. He has since requested every official portrait of him to be hand-drawn.

Tromein was bullied a lot in his childhood, due to him being "unique" and different from everyone else - his head and limbs are not connected to his body, and are floating around the rings near where his head and limbs would connect to an another part of the body. He also damaged his left eye early on in his life, but somehow it turned into a cross. Tromein never hid that with an eye-patch or anything of the sort. He also has 2 horns on his head, with one of them being glitched out and turned into a magenta and black checker, that always stays lit, even in the dark. Tromein got used to the bullying, and even made fun of himself in school for how he is, to try to lose the attention of those who would want to see him sad. Everyone else around Tromein also eventually got used to it, which is why his yearbook portrait has him proudly showing it off. For a while it wasn't known why he decided to hide that in his U.S. Senate and presidential portraits, but a lot of people speculated that it's because he thought that since he holds such an important position, and lots of people were going to see his official portraits, especially his presidential one, it must be "dead serious". Tromein later on confirmed that this speculation is true.

Tromein has never directly declared the gender of his parents and spouses, but most people speculate his parents are both men. When referring to his spouses, people always call them by their name and refer to them all as a "they/them".

Tromein has always been a huge enjoyer of art and music, and is interested in playing the electric guitar. He played a song on his electric guitar, that he wrote specifically for his inauguration as the 47th president of the United States, during his inauguration ceremony.

Tromein has traveled to other countries a lot during his childhood and teenage years. He loves taking pictures of places in the world. He describes himself as a "lover of nature".

U.S. Senate & early political career (2018-2025)

Early political career

Tromein announced he would run for U.S. Senator from Rhode Island on January 9th, 2018. He easily won the election.

Tromein has always been a strong criticizer of both dominant political parties (the Republicans and the Democrats). His main message has always been "The 2-party system is stupid, and you know it. Democrats are too scared, Republicans are too evil". He has described himself as a centrist Independent, even after he formed his own political party, called Tromein Party. His policies have been rated as leaning left.

Since the start of his political career, he has always been pro-LGBTQIA+ and tried to protect people of color.

Senate Activities

Tromein mostly worked very quietly - not announcing most of the things he's done himself, and having others (like the Governor of Rhode Island) announce his doings for him. A lot of people call him "the better Biden" due to how people describe him as "a person who just does his job, quietly". Tromein didn't speak much in general after he was elected as U.S. Senate, as he "didn't want to cause unnecessary buzz so early on in my career".

Some of his notable achievements include:

  • Proposing the bill to protect people from the LGBTQIA+ community in Rhode Island from discrimination based on their gender and sexuality
  • Proposing the bill to protect people of color from discrimination based on their race
  • Proposing the bill to increase the minimum wage
  • Some people disliked his proposed minimal wage, because it upped the minimum wage to just $14. He has gone on record to say that "if I made it any higher than $14, it would likely not be passed into law".

    2024 presidential campaign

Tromein announced his campaign for president on February 3rd, 2024. Immediately after announcing it, people on social media were excited about his candidacy in the 2024 election, as he has widely been known as the best senator of all time. #VoteTromein was trending in the U.S. on X (formerly Twitter).

Tromein's campaign promises were similar to Harris': legalize recretional marijuana, unban abortion nation-wide, increase the minimum wage, and many other things, such as helping first-time house buyers. Tromein announced most of his policies on stage and on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
